Install SimpURL on your device
Open your workspace from your home screen or desktop, keep it updated, and reconnect safely.
Add the app
- Open SimpURL in your normal browser and sign in.
- In Chrome or Edge, select Install SimpURL in the workspace header when it appears, or use the browser menu to install the app.
- On iPhone or iPad, open SimpURL in Safari, choose Share, then Add to Home Screen. Enable Open as Web App if Safari offers that option.
- Open the new SimpURL icon. The app starts in Links and uses the same account and workspace permissions.
Get the latest version
SimpURL checks for new versions when you open or return to your signed-in workspace, and periodically while it is open. When an update is ready, save your work and select Update app, then Update now. The app applies the new version and refreshes automatically. Keep working or Update later lets you finish unsaved changes first. Other open tabs are not refreshed automatically.
Open Settings > App to see your current app build and select Check for updates. You can also apply an available update here after dismissing its banner. A successful update shows a one-time confirmation.
If an update cannot finish, reconnect and select Try again. If you cancel a browser warning about unsaved changes, save your work first, then retry the update. You do not need to uninstall the app or clear its storage.
If your connection drops
The workspace shows an offline notice while open. If you reopen it without a connection, a reconnect screen appears. Select Try again after reconnecting. Link creation, editing, analytics, and sign-in require internet access; changes are not queued for later submission.
