Analytics & reporting
Filter, compare, and export analytics
Narrow a loaded report, inspect click details, download CSV or SVG output, and keep internal traffic out of future reporting.
Stack report filters
- Open Analytics and choose an account or campaign scope and Reporting period.
- Select Filters to open Report filters.
- Choose one or more values for Link, Namespace, Source, Browser, Operating system, and Time of day. Filters stack across the loaded report.
- Use the matching count to confirm the result set. Select Clear filters to return to the full loaded report.
Inspect click details and drill down
- Open the Sources & links, Audience, or Click data report section.
- Select a performance highlight, source, time bucket, platform, browser, operating system, or link to focus the report on that context.
- In Click data, search link, source, IP, browser, or user agent. Results are paginated at 25 visible rows.
- Remember that the current context, selected link, and stacked Report filters all affect what is shown and exported.
- The detailed table can show Clicked, Link, Source, IP address, Browser / OS, and User agent.
- Drilldowns change the visible report context but do not mutate campaign or link data.
Export the visible report
- Set the desired scope, period, comparison, drilldown, and filters before exporting.
- Open Export and choose Dashboard report (.svg) for a visual report or Current data (.csv) for row-level event data.
- Confirm the download name includes the scope and period, then handle the file according to your organization's data policy.
Exclude internal traffic from future analytics
- In an owner report, select Tracking rules.
- Choose IP addresses or Referrer domains, enter the internal range or domain, and save the rule.
- Review the saved rules and remove one when that traffic should be included again.
- Pro and Teams support up to 50 exclusion rules.
- Matching clicks and Campaign Hub views still resolve normally, but they do not create analytics events, increment counters, or confirm Autopilot impressions.
- Rules apply to future activity only. Existing analytics do not change.
Best practices for filters and exports
- Set scope and Reporting period before adding filters so the visible options match the report you intend to analyze.
- Use Clear filters before a new question, and keep the selected scope, period, and drilldown with any exported file.
- Protect CSV and SVG files as analytics data; detailed rows can include IP address, referrer, browser, operating system, and user agent fields.
Troubleshooting
- A filter has no options: the options are built from the loaded report. Expand the period or scope, or refresh after new activity.
- An export is empty: clear filters and drilldowns, verify the report has click activity, and refresh the report before exporting again.
- Tracking rules are unavailable: they require Pro or Teams and write access. Viewers and read-only shared reports cannot change them.
- The export contains more or fewer rows than expected: check the current scope, comparison setting, selected link, drilldown, and stacked filters; those controls are intentionally included.
